The Start...
A little over a year ago when I purchased a shiny new Canon camera, I simply wanted to capture memories and create photo albums for my family to cherish. My husband, Brennan, and I love printing photos and meticulously filling photo albums that we hope will stick around in our family for generations. Both of us with tight-knit Appalachian family roots, we were raised with the idea that pictures keep the stories, traditions, and the memory of our loved ones alive. They are timeless, priceless family treasures. We frame them, we tuck them away safely, we pass them around on holidays to reminisce.
As special as planned photography sessions may be, not every photo has to be posed and professional. Those may feel extra special, when everyone is cleaned up and ready to smile. They'll look great hanging on the wall of your home, or office. But the meaning behind it all, having something tangible to hold onto - that's what makes photography special.
